Apple Vision Pro Just Arrived!

As the founder and leader of a small but rapidly growing company, who happens to have Cerebral Palsy – but who is never defined by it – I am always ready to jump into the flames!
This means, staying on top of new technology and innovation that can be transformative for anyone, people with challenges, and businesses.
Apple Vision Pro – I’m jumping into the fire again!
Apple Vision Pro just launched on February 2nd, 2024. Hot off the assembly line and press! I’m going to give you my personal and professional user experience with Apple Vision Pro – up close and personal.
I wondered if, Apple Vision Pro might be a game-changer. I read some reviews, but I decided to kick the tires myself and then share my experience with customers, followers, and friends of Paradise Shells & Fine Jewelry by Samantha. And, of course, members of the disability community!
My scheduled visit with Billy, Michael, and Russ at the Apple Store in The Green Hills Mall (Nashville) was far above what I expected! They were incredibly well prepared to introduce me to Apple Vision Pro and especially its Accessibility Features.
Fitting and setup took about a couple of hours and required some creativity by Russ. For instance, a typical user will set up and navigate inside the spatial computing environment of Apple Vision Pro using hand gestures. I was able to do it, but not efficiently (CP and all that). So, Russ set up an accessibility feature allowing me to navigate using only my eyes, or with a track pad!
Game changer! I decided the trackpad was the best option for me. It enabled me to navigate and use apps with relative ease! Now the fun part – the demo. For the next hour, my mind was blown, and my world changed in an instant!
Apple Vision Pro – My First Experience
My experience with Apple Vision Pro and spatial computing was so transformative and breakthrough-worthy, it’s impossible to describe. All of the sudden, I was having a blast – the time of my life!
I traveled to and explored the Earth’s Moon, several lakes, mountains, and beaches (my first time in Hawaii), played with dinosaurs, and attended an Alicia Keys’ concert in a small venue. Alicia was right in front of me!
All of this was in full panoramic 3-D! It was more than 3-D! It was more like a hologram or being there in real life – only even more sharp and vivid than reality itself!
